LIFE OF FEAR.

Fear, fear and only fear all the way
Fear behind, fear beyond of way-lay
Fear within and fear without the abode
Fear of the stranger, of the friend.

Fear of hidden cam in the bed
In the bath, on the road off the road
The fear eroding her confidence
Making her a chronic victim of diffidence.

The source of fear, man’s fear
Of losing his public domain to her
The patriarchy of subjugation,for ever
Unchecked, undefied in man’s favour.

Born equal though in natal innocence
Losing guts day by day waning confidence
Doomed to miserable life of bondage
Taking all grace, poise off her visage.
